This location is convenient due to its close proximity to the I-95 freeway, the ample parking, and general lack of excessive crowding. The staff is friendly, and there are plenty of seats and free wifi available. However, I wonder if there is slightly less turnover of products here compared to busier locations. Recently came in to redeem a free pastry reward on my Panera card, and got some refreshing hibiscus iced tea. The pecan roll was ok...a little disappointing in that it was dry, but I just took it home and zapped it in the microwave to soften the center up. To be fair, when I was deciding between a couple things, the person behind the counter was extremely friendly and offered her opinion. She had said the roll tended to be dry, though it seemed to be a customer favorite nonetheless. In any case, I wouldn't opt to get it again. I usually get scones, but just felt like getting something different. I've also been here a couple times to study with a friend, and the environment is pleasant. The black bean soup here is pretty good as well.

Worst location. Save yourself the grief and go to a different location that it's only a couple miles away. Always out of food, get your order wrong. Staff is rude and incompetent. Such a shame because it's in a great location. Not only do they get your order wrong but they try to ignore you when you tell them. The guy at the counter wouldn't even look up at me

Plenty of other locations close by. Poorly made food, portion sizes are smaller than other locations. It's happened on more than one occasion, but they make your order wrong and you bring to the country to have them fix it. They ignore you for a few minutes. When you finally get their attention they tell you have to go back to the front without even looking up at you. When you do go to the front they punish you again. It's just not worth it so you eat it anyway. They used to be so much more helpful. I get the asiago steak and they would always scoop the bread, but now the guy with the moustache loves to say that they don't do that. Like I said, go to another one close by.

I have always been a fan of Panera Bread. I am a huge sandwich & soup eater thus Panera Bread has always been a favorite. Unfortunately this particular Panera Bread has really let me down and has pushed me towards going elsewhere for lunch. To be blunt, I always feel ripped off when dining at Panera Bread. The sandwiches are always poorly made and I understand that everything is pre-portioned out but they need to increase the amounts. I usually order the Chicken Caesar Sandwich. I remove the onion and tomato and ask for extra cheese... that was until I realized they charge $1.75 more for extra cheese.... Shredded asiago which barely stays inside the sandwich. I also used to add avocado to my sandwich which is an additional $1.50 charge. I literally received 2 tiny pieces of avocado on my sandwich. I can buy a whole ORGANIC avocado from Whole Foods for $2.50... I understand food cost and the need for proper pricing but that is ridiculous. Not to mention they usually mess up my order because the staff there are very young & do not seem too concerned with customer service. My fiancé often orders the Chipotle Chicken Panini and it is nothing but bread- another rip off. (see photo) At the end of the day, I appreciate the antibiotic free chicken, and the semi fresh ingredients but it seems as though Panera Bread is losing there edge. Customers want great value which I do not find at Panera. I hope they can re-evaluate there portions and re train staff to pay attention to orders. The bathroom at this franchise is always clean but they need to work on having the tables more frequently wiped down for guests dining there.

Good for soup and sandwiches . Free wifi and plenty of seating in and out. Nice fresh sandwiches and dessert at reasonable prices for boca.

The food tastes fairly good, but it's so not worth the money. The bagels and bread are the only thing I will pay for here from now on. I just paid almost 9 dollars for lunch and I'm not even really full. My half a sandwich was more like a quarter sandwich. It should have cost me 4 dollars tops. Not impressed.

If this was my first experience with Panera Bread it would of been my last!! I travel to DC and have had the lentil and quinoa soup and it was fantastic. I ordered it today for the first time at this location and it was nothing short of a bowl of broth and oh yeh.... Let's throw a bit of spinach on it for looks! They tore the bread apart with their hands and put it on my plate. A piece that measured 3 inches if I'm being generous!!

Worst in customer service.. No importance for customers.. Screwed up my order and tried to make me wait like 10min as they forgot about the order and then did not bother to check all the sides that come with it.. Bad reputation for Panera Bread sales..

Panera is Panera but like other have said, the parking sitch blows and the lunch crowd is out of control. Even so, I went yesterday and we got our food pretty quickly so I was surprised by that. They have an awesome outdoor seating area not only with the typical outdoor patio furniture you see at restaurants but their padded as well--hello butt comfort while I eat! Their Pick 2 combo rocks and is the best deal on the menu, you can pick two things from t half a sandwich, salad or soup plus you get a side of chips, apple or baguette with it. I always get this and like to mix and match to try different things, the salad portions are pretty big Clicks to Panera for posting the calorie content on the menus right where you can see it!If you have a Panera Rewards card, be sure to hand it to them since they didn't ask when I ordered and lord knows I want my points. Also, if you get cold easily, be sure to bring a sweater --this please is super chilly (All in a ploy for them to make money off of their coffee imo of course)

I have been to this Panera Bread a few times in the past. I don't have any complaints. I like the fact that they have some healthy options on the menu. Recently I have been trying to take sodium out of my diet so on this particular night I asked the shift manager to tell me the sodium levels of the soups. Well...I didn't know this but Panera Bread (all Panera Breads) have this book and in this book they have the breakdown for every item on the menu. We first looked at the soups and the majority of the soup had over 1000 mg of sodium in them. She confessed that they don't make the soups on premise but get them from the warehouse. Out of all the soups, the best healthy choice was the Tomato soup. So I ordered that. It had 510 mg of sodium for a cup. Unfortunately, the soup tasted like the tomato paste you put on a pizza. So if you like that then that's a bonus. The next thing was the salad. We went through all the salads and determined the chicken and avocado was the best choice. So I ordered that. Not so tasty either but it was healthy. I was impressed that the shift manager took the time to assist me with my nutrition options. To be clear, there were no other customers in line and I was there when it was very slow. In the future I would most likely ask for assistance before I get in line if that is something you would like to do for dietary reasons. Our group of friends were able to gather on this Monday night and discuss issues. We didn't get hassled and that is always a plus.

Again just OK if you want something quick. They do have healthy options, if you go to their website you can check them out there. They also have 'Power Lunch" options that are not on the store menu, but can be made in-house. They are actually quite good. Nice selections of soup and sandwiches and you can 'go for 2' --1/2 sammie, 1/2 soup or 1/2 salad. Last time we went though they messed up my salad, so I had to wait some more for it, then served my friend a caprese sandwich which was just pitiful to look at. It had a smidgen of cheese, one slice of tomato and like a sliver of basil. She actually brought it back up to them and had them re-do it. So maybe not the best Panera Bread you have ever been to, but it's an option if you want a selection of soups. They do have a couple seats outside, but it always seems to be a mad house here. Finding parking and seating can be a real B1tch.

This is the first time I have been to this location. I was surprised that they give you a buzzer and then have you pick up your food. So wait! I'm by myself , its lunch time ,I find a table ,get comfortable and then the buzzer goes off and I have to pick up my food at the counter all the way across the restaurant and lose the table... The last time I went to a Panera they brought the food to the table , I guess that's only in Naples,Fl

This location has quickly risen to one of the worst. Today, the order taker kept interrupting me while I was placing my order. All of her questions would have been answered if she just listened to me. The ice machine was not producing enough ice or any ice. This would be the second time in the past 2 months that I had to drink warm soda. If I would have known this, I would have purchased coffee instead. I ordered a spinach power salad and the salad was a little... underwhelming. Too many ingredients and not enough spinach. I actually felt like I ordered bacon, mushrooms, and fried onions with a side of spinach. I guess I will be driving to the other Boca location.

This panera is right by where I work and super convenient. I have had nothing but unpleasant experiences with the completly incompetent staff. If your in a hurry do not go there. If you want your pick up order correct, do not go there.

So I'm a huge fan or Panera, but this location needs help. I just moved to Boca from Boynton and this is not even a mile from my house, but after numerous times going and there out of something ( bread) especially how does Panera Bread run out of bread really. Or I place an order to go and stuff is always wrong or missing. It's sad because I really love the food.

Went here for lunch today, my wife's first salad was full of rotten greens. They where happy to replace it, only to give her a second salad with a tomato that was black inside, no bruised, not mushy, it was black. Took it to the "Manager" who's only response was "I'm sorry, would you like another salad?". No offer to remove it from the bill, after two strike do you really think the customer wants a third possibly rotten salad. I will not be going to this location ever again. So heads up check your salad before you start eating, they won't.

OUT OF EVERYTHING! No Baguettes, no crispy apple slices, no 3 cheese bread, no asiago bread... Yep... settled for a Fuji Apple Chicken salad without apple chips. It's one of only a few places I've ever been that I actually open every item in my to go order to make sure it is correct. You really have to be on top of these guys to get what you ordered... sad. I really love Panera Bread's food but this location needs some serious help. It's time for new management, keeping a restaurant stocked is a fundamental necessity. A quick glance at other reviews confirms that I am not alone.

Parking situation sucks, and the lunch crowd is ridiculous. Took 20 minutes to get my half sandwich with half a salad. The sandwiches are OK, I like the salads and the broccoli cheese soup is delicious. I wish they will bring back the salmon salad with wheat berries...

I love Panera and their bread. This location is busier than others and during lunch, the line is out the door. Their lunches are quick, tasty, and under $10. My kind of place! You pick 2 option is always my favorite cause you get the best of both worlds. Oh and their breakfast souffles are butter-cheesy-goodness. Try it, you'll definitely like it!

I come to this Panera on semi-regular basis - mostly because it's close to my house. I go to Panera in general because I appreciate the free wi-fi and I love the fact that they serve Republic Teas, particularly the Daily Honey Ginseng Green Tea. (Of course this location ALWAYS runs out of this flavor, so it is rarely in stock.) The Panera in Boca Raton, on the weekends at least, needs to get its act together. At 10am on this Sunday morning there are barely 5 parties in the place. I arrive to meet my husband for coffee. I set down my bags and head to the counter to order - only one couple is in front of me ordering. Now, this couple acted like the menu was written in Latin or something because they were very confused by the bagels with cream cheese and the empty cups that they were supposed to fill with coffee. Indecisive, unintelligent customers are not the business' fault, but while these folks pondered the wonder that is an everything bagel, the line grew to be about 5 people deep. My brain began to boil as I watched the manager stand in front of the line dancing, while two of her employees giggled with their hands in their pockets. Meanwhile, another girl emerges from the back with two pastries in her and arranges them neatly on a tray next to an open register. She then proceeds to stand there, staring at the growing line, but avoiding eye contact, making it appear that she is too busy arranging pastries on a plate to be bothered with customers. I waited in line for 7 minutes until finally, finally the manager came over and jumped on a register, but not before she completed two more dance moves. I'm all about having fun at work, but you have to take care of your customers and that definitely wasn't happening here this morning.

Panera is usually always good, this one does not disappoint. Lunch is always crazy here, if you are in a rush I would call in your order to-go. Really great food, but when ordering to-go my favorite Asian chicken salad becomes half the amount I would get eating there.

    (4)
  • M E.

I wonder if you sell less bagels because you don't sell them with cream cheese to the people who are taking it to go. Now I have to go to mc Donald's or einsteins even if it means not getting your coffee. And the best part is how your cashier said it's a health code violation? Huh? Your a restraunt who makes food. Oo kaaay.

I must say, Panera never disappoints... The food is always fresh and delicious and reasonably priced in my opinion! Went during the lunch rush and was a little concerned at first cause the line was looong and the dining area was packed but the crew here definitely knows how to handle it. Food was ready in just a short wait; (they give these little pagers that buzz when your order is ready, don't have to stand and watch them work). Had the pick 2: 1/2 a greek salad and a cup of chicken soup... absolutely delicious!

Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of Panera. I have been to MANY all over the USA and they are mostly good and consistent. This one however sucks. The girl who took our order was not nice at all. It was like we were doing HER the favor. I swear I should have just cancelled the order and gone to the Panera on Linton and Federal. There must have been no manager around as the group of workers there were much more interested in hanging out and gossiping loud instead of working. Don't get me wrong, I am all for having fun in life but when at work, we all need to love what we do and give customers a good experience. If you don't love what you do, find something that fulfills you. And OMG, there was one woman (60ish) sitting outside eating and chain smoking the entire time. VERY uninviting for any guest that would have wanted to enjoy the outdoor dining. Sorry, this was just a very poor experience at this particular Panera. I doubt the manager is reading this or even cares but I just wanted to get my opinion out there!
